I made these film fragments between 1982 and 1984. Using different techniques, such as slide projections, multiple exposures, stop-motion, light animation, and so on. I used a Bolex 16 mm camera in single frame mode and a self-developed timer. Sometimes I rewound the film in the camera and made multiple exposures. For this purpose I also added a servo motor to the shutter of the camera. I was diving into the origins of cinematography. A bit later I built an image-by-image projector from an old Debrie Parvo camera and experimented with recycled 35 mm strips that I found in an abandoned cinema. My aim was to transform reality into my personal world, and create poetry in motion.
